With the theme “Building Effective Creative Clusters” the joint Cluster2020-ECCL final conference was held on 25 November2014 in WERK1, a new co-working space in East Munich. The key objective was to address practical ideas to unlock the economic value of the Creative & Cultural Industries. The conference’s sessions focused on the development of better strategies and services for creative clusters, effective Co-working spaces and Incubators as key in the development of CCIs, and the impact of creative clusters at the local and regional level. Several panel discussions with expert speakers generated many ideas and suggestions for the future of creative clusters and their managers.

The #4 EBN Technical Note on Creative Industries was presented at the Cluster2020 Final Conference in Munich. Among other subjects, it includes a section on Best incubation practices for addressing the CCI sector, case studies, an analysis of Creative EU|BICs, the overall findings of the Cluster2020 project and a featured interview with David Furmage, Project Coordinator.
